Air Open – May 2026

Join us this May for the Okehampton Smallbore Club Air Open, a friendly yet competitive open meeting for Air Rifle and Air Pistol shooters of all abilities.

Taking place across three days on our fully refurbished indoor 10 m ranges, this popular event offers multiple competitions, junior awards, team events, and a welcoming atmosphere for both experienced competitors and those newer to open meetings.

Okehampton Smallbore Club Range
Entrance via Mill Road Car Park,
Okehampton, Devon, EX20 1PS

All shooting is indoors on modern 10 m ranges.

📅 Event Dates

• Thursday 14 May 2026 – Evening squad

• Saturday 16 May 2026

• Sunday 17 May 2026

A range of squad times is available across all days, and competitors may select their preferred squads when entering.

🎯 Competitions

Open to Seniors and Juniors (juniors are under 18 on the day of shooting).

Air Rifle

• 10 m, 60-shot competitions

• Aggregate events

• Club team competition (teams of three)

• Top Junior Air Rifle Award

Air Pistol

• 10 m, 60-shot competitions

• Aggregate events

• Club team competition (teams of three)

• Top Junior Air Pistol Award

Competitors will be placed into classes based on supplied averages (Class A if no average is provided).
Where entry numbers allow, medals will be awarded down to third place in all classes, with additional awards for top juniors.

All competitions are run under NSRA rules where applicable.

🍴 Food & Refreshments

Hot and cold food and drinks will be available from the club kitchen on Saturday and Sunday, offering good value throughout the day.
