The Devon County Small-bore Rifle Association (DCSRA) offers its members a dynamic calendar of events, ensuring there are plenty of opportunities to compete, challenge yourself, and connect with fellow shooters throughout the year.
What is our motto all about: Semper Fidelis
When the weather turns warmer, the focus shifts to a more social and competitive format with the shoulder to shoulder competitions. The DCSRA holds two of these major events annually at Budleigh Farm, a premier small-bore shooting complex near Moretonhampstead.
June Competition (DCSRA Devon & Open Championships): This is the first of the two major shoots, open to all shooters, and is a fantastic opportunity to test your skills in various disciplines.
September Competition (DCSRA Southwest & Open Championships ): The second major event of the year, also an open competition, provides another chance to compete against some of the best shooters in the region. - Programme and Entry Form

During the colder months, the DCSRA hosts Winter Postal Competitions. These events are a great way to stay engaged and maintain your shooting skills when outdoor range time may be limited. Unlike traditional "shoulder to shoulder" matches where everyone shoots at the same time and place, postal competitions allow shooters to fire their competition cards at their local affiliated club ranges. The scores are then submitted to the DCSRA for compilation and ranking against other clubs and shooters in the county. Entering these competitions is easy—simply coordinate with your club's officials.
