Pinhoe Target Shooting Club is pleased to invite shooters from across the South West and beyond to compete in the Pinhoe Trophy Open Shoot 2026, one of the region's longest-running target shooting competitions, first awarded in 1968. [Pinhoe Trophy 2026 | PDF]

The competition features four disciplines:

• Prone Rifle

• Benchrest

• Light Support Rifle (LSR)

• 10m Air Rifle and Air Pistol

All events include both team and individual competitions, with teams consisting of three shooters. The popular"Choose Your Own Start" format allows competitors to select a start score appropriate to their ability, making the event accessible to shooters of all standards. [Pinhoe Trophy 2026 | PDF]

Competition Format

• Team competitions for squads of three shooters.

• Individual competition included within the team event.

• Optional individual time-limit competitions.

• Classes based on submitted averages and entry numbers.

Venue

The event will be held at Pinhoe Target Shooting Club, Langaton Lane, Pinhoe, Exeter, EX1 3TX, with indoor ranges at 25 yards, 20 yards and 10 metres. The venue offers:

• Easy access from the M5 and A30

• Large on-site car park

• Accessible facilities

Entry Details

• Entry fee: £8 per competitor (includes the individual competition).

• Time-limit competition: £3 extra.

• Competitors can choose their preferred squad time from the published timetable.
