SSBSA Major Hutchinson Open Shoot 2026

DCSRA members are invited to enter the SSBSA Major Hutchinson Open Shoot, a Somerset Small Bore Shooting Association (SSBSA) event being hosted by Minehead Target Shooting Club on Saturday 10th October 2026.

This popular 50m Indoor English Match competition offers both Prone and Benchrest Rimfire disciplines and provides an excellent opportunity for shooters of all abilities to experience one of the region's established open meetings.

Course of Fire

Competitors will shoot:

• 60 scoring shots

• 3 details of 20 shots

• 2 × 10-bull cards per detail

• 20 minutes allowed for each 20-shot course

• Unlimited sighters

• 10 minutes between details for target changing

The total squad time is 120 minutes.

Squadding

A number of squads will be available throughout the day, with the timings detailed on the official entry form.

Early entry is recommended as places are likely to be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
