St Austell Open Air Rifle, Air Pistol 

& Bench Rest Competition 2026

10th & 11th October 2026

The St Austell Open Air Competition 2026 returns on Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th October 2026, offering competitors the opportunity to take part in a friendly and well-run weekend of shooting at the St Austell Rifle & Pistol Club. [St Austell Oct 26 | PDF]

The event includes competitions for:

• 10m Air Rifle

• 10m Air Pistol

• 20 Yard Air Rifle Bench Rest

Competitions are open to shooters of all abilities, with competitors divided into classes according to averages. Medals will be awarded down to third place in each class, subject to entry numbers, with additional awards for top junior competitors. [St Austell Oct 26 | PDF]

• Two 60-shot matches

• Aggregate competition

• Club team event (teams of three)

• Top Junior award

Air Pistol

• Two 60-shot matches

• Aggregate competition

Bench Rest Air Rifle

• Two 60-shot matches

• Aggregate competition

• Club team event (teams of three)

• Top Junior award

Refreshments

Entry Information

Entry fees start from:

• £10 adults / £5 juniors for a single competition

• £16 adults / £8 juniors for dual competitions and aggregates

• £6 per club team entry
